Job Description

My client (nursery) in South Croydon is seeking a nursery room leader. You must be qualified to a minimum of a level 3 nursery practitioner qualification to apply.

This role is full time worked over 4 days per week with hours from

8am -- 6pm

.

You will be working with the age range of 2-3 years.

The ideal candidate will have:

Level 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent Previous experience of working with children aged 2-3 years is desired Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum Have a passion for working with children and making a difference
Some responsibilities will include:

Leading and supporting team of staff, ensuring they deliver excellent care to the children. Ensuring the environment provides constant engaging activities for the children Maintaining full responsibility for Pre-school following the EYFS curriculum Being a key worker to a group of children, supporting with the development and care Keeping up to date records for all children and supporting other staff with paperwork Supporting children with SEN and working with the SENDCO coordinator to ensure the children's support plans are followed, supporting their development Following the nurseries policies and procedures
