Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to lead and manage a group of children, and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare.

Duties



Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. Develop and implement engaging activities that promote learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Observe and assess children's progress, ensuring individual needs are met through tailored support. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play sessions, ensuring smooth transitions between activities. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery to ensure a safe environment for children. Collaborate with team members to share best practices and enhance the overall quality of care provided.

Qualifications



A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is essential. Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff. Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage groups of children confidently. A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to supporting children's development is essential. A valid driving licence would be advantageous but is not mandatory.

Pay: 22,660.00-23,544.00 per year
