Job Description

A reputable Montessori nursery in Borehamwood is currently recruiting for experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to join its growing early years team. The setting offers care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years, with thoughtfully designed spaces filled with natural light, outdoor play areas, and access to a forest school programme. Recognised for its high standards and Montessori-based approach, the nursery has earned multiple awards and consistently strong OFSTED outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the planning and delivery of EYFS-based activities tailored to children's developmental needs. Support a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment. Deliver purposeful activities in line with Montessori methods and the child's individual learning journey. Work in partnership with parents and external professionals to support each child's progress. Uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and safeguarding at all times. Ensure effective communication between colleagues, management, and families. Stay up to date with policies, procedures, and compliance expectations. Complete training and coursework in line with the nursery's development goals and standards.

Candidate Profile:

Hold a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3, CACHE, NNEB). Strong understanding of early years development from birth to five years. Passionate about supporting children's learning and emotional wellbeing. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to team working.
