Nursery Nurse
Job Description
Bubbly Bear nursery is looking to recruit an experienced and qualified nursery nurse to enhance our setting. The successful candidate will have confidence and initiative with both a minimum level 2 qualification and experience of working with children aged 0-5 years.
The position we are offering is a full time position, 40 hours per week, we could possibly look at a shorter contract for the right candidate. The position will be subject to an enhance DBS and reference check.
The successful candidate will act as a key worker to a group of children between the ages of 0-2years (baby room) or 2-5years in the nursery room to support their daily needs.
Purpose of post: To ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for children place in the nursery. To give support to other personnel within the nursery and to implement the daily routine in the based room.
We are looking for a self motivated and confident individual, you will need to be flexible with working hours as shift patterns are changed weekly. You will be be expected to attend training and meetings out of work hours.
You will need to be able to work as part of a professional childcare team, you will have good organisational skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team and parents.
Responsibilities
Provide high-quality care and support to children in a nursery setting, ensuring their safety and well-being. Engage children in educational activities that promote early childhood development and learning. Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to health and safety standards. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and needs. Collaborate with colleagues to create a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for all children. Utilize strong organizational skills to manage daily tasks and schedules efficiently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour
