About Our Nursery:

With strong links to local schools, we ensure smooth transitions for children. Our curriculum is both fun and educational, featuring unique activities such as infant sports coaching and engaging language/music groups.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the team with a focus on recruitment, staff induction, training, and ongoing development. Implement and maintain effective systems for reporting and monitoring nursery operations. Manage occupancy levels and financial targets, ensuring the nursery stays within budget. Oversee the accuracy of the Connect Childcare database system. Ensure extra-curricular activities meet the requirements of the EYFS. Maintain staff ratios and ensure proper deployment of staff across rooms. Take full responsibility for safeguarding and child protection. Ensure the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Coordinate with outside professionals as needed for the benefit of children. Collaborate closely with the Nursery SENDCo to support children with additional needs. Follow and maintain a safer recruitment process. Complete weekly rotas and attendance registers for staff and children. Provide the necessary policies, procedures, and support to the team. Oversee the physical health and well-being of children within the nursery.
