About Elm Park Nursery:

Elm Park Nursery is a leading Montessori nursery offering a vibrant and nurturing learning environment that supports the development of children socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually. We believe that when children are happy, they are more open to opportunities, more confident, and more at ease with themselves creating the perfect foundation for their future learning journey.

We pride ourselves on offering a balanced, child-centred approach to education. Our Montessori curriculum provides children with a unique introduction to lifelong skills, helping them grow and develop at their own pace. Once they reach three years old, children transition into the pre-school phase of their education, where they can confidently build on their abilities.

Manage occupancy levels and financial budgets to meet targets and ensure smooth operations. Ensure the accuracy and consistency of the Connect Childcare database system. Guarantee extra-curricular activities meet the requirements of the EYFS framework. Ensure all rooms comply with staff ratios and staffing deployment regulations. Take full responsibility for safeguarding and child protection to ensure the safety and well-being of all children. Lead the delivery of the EYFS curriculum and ensure it is effectively implemented across all age groups. Liaise with external professionals when necessary to support the development and needs of children. Work closely with the SENDCo to support children with additional needs. Ensure the nursery follows a robust and safe recruitment process. Manage weekly staff rotas and attendance registers for both staff and children. Uphold and enforce the nursery's policies and procedures, ensuring a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment. Monitor and promote the physical health and well-being of all children in the nursery.
