About the Role:
As Nursery Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the daily running of the nursery. You'll create a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment where children can thrive, while leading, motivating, and supporting your team to deliver outstanding childcare every day.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Managing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of care, education, and compliance.
Delivering exciting, age-appropriate learning experiences that promote child development and curiosity.
Maintaining accurate records, managing staff rotas, and ensuring compliance with Ofsted and statutory requirements.
Recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to build a passionate, skilled, and high-performing team.
Driving nursery occupancy through effective planning, local marketing, and building strong relationships with families.
Acting as the main point of contact for parents and carers, fostering open, positive communication and trust.
Championing a culture of safeguarding, equality, and continuous improvement.

About You:
To succeed as our Nursery Manager, you will need:
A
Level 3 qualification or above
in Early Years Education (or equivalent)
Previous
nursery management
or
room leader
experience
A thorough understanding of
EYFS
,
safeguarding policies
, and
Ofsted requirements
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
A genuine passion for early years education and child development
