Responsibilities

Drive the overall management of the nursery, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in childcare. Manage and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development. Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and play. Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, development milestones, and any incidents that occur within the nursery. Collaborate with local authorities and other agencies to enhance the nursery's services and community involvement.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential. A qualification in early childhood education or a related field is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. A genuine passion for childcare and commitment to providing high-quality education. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.
