Ashbourne Day Nurseries at Leighton Buzzard is recruiting for a Deputy Nursery Manager to join their friendly team.

We are a 45 place, home from home nursery with separate areas for Babies, Toddlers and Preschool.

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and play
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences
- Monitor and observe children's development and progress
- Collaborate with parents and communicate effectively about children's daily activities and progress
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene guidelines

-Manage the opening or closing of the nursery in a shift pattern with the nursery management team

- Ensure smooth workflow and adherence to company policies and procedures

- Lead the training, inductions and supervision of staff members

Experience:

- Previous experience in a leadership role within a childcare environment

- Knowledge of child development principles and practices
- Familiarity with early years curriculum frameworks
- Ability to engage and interact positively with children

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

- Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed

Pay: 28,000.00-28,500.00 per year
