Job Advert: Temp to Perm Nursery Cook

Pay Rate: 12.25 per hour

Hours: 10am - 2pm, Monday to Friday

Are you a passionate and experienced cook looking to make a difference in a vibrant nursery environment? We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Cook to join our team on a temporary to potential permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare healthy and nutritious meals for children, adhering to dietary requirements and preferences.

- Maintain high cleaning standards and ensure the kitchen is organized.

- Work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment to meet meal service timeframes.

- Collaborate with staff to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.

- Be familiar with allergens and manage food preparation accordingly.

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is preferred by not essential.

- Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.

- Willingness to undergo Level 3 Food Hygiene training on the job.

- Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrate teamwork, and communication skills.

- Knowledge of allergens and dietary restrictions to ensure safe meals are prepared.
