Due to the retirement of the current postholder, we are looking for a part-time Nursery Cook to start in June 2025. We are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to provide nutritious meals for our nursery children while ensuring a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Nightingales Nursery, based at St Francis Xavier College, 2-minute walk from Clapham South, takes pride in being a small, family orientated nursery creating warm and caring environment for our children and staff. The nursery provides a holistic learning environment; we pay special attention to the transition period from home to nursery, reassuring parents of their child's well-being and progress on a daily basis. Parents and visitors often comment on how happy and confident the children are. This is an exciting permanent Nursery Cook position at a thriving nursery in the heart of Balham.
Nursery Cook Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook meals catering to dietary requirements
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
Plan balanced menus with the Nursery Manager
Manage kitchen supplies efficiently
