Job Description

This job is Monday - Friday 7.5 hours per week. Occasional overtime when required for full nursery deep clean. Please only apply if this is something that is suitable to you as an individual with these work hours.

Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Cleaner to join our team.

As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the nursery setting. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all service users.

Duties: - Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming - Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, playrooms and other common areas - Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly - Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces - Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished - Follow established safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) - Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete tasks within designated timeframes Experience: - Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not required - Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks - Excellent time management skills to prioritize work effectively.
