Job Description
We're on the lookout for a passionate and enthusiastic
Nursery Chef
to prepare and cook healthy, nutritious meals and snacks for our little learners. Working closely with the Nursery Director and Manager, you'll help plan and deliver a delicious and balanced menu.You'll also champion all things cooking and baking across the nursery--whether that's baking with the children, whipping up treats for special events like Parent's Evening or the Summer Fair, or keeping our kitchen running smoothly and hygienically.
Key Duties:
Plan, prepare, and cook fresh meals and snacks daily Get involved in cooking and baking activities with the children Support nursery events with themed food and bakes Maintain high kitchen hygiene and manage waste appropriately Ensure all food is ready on time, every time Order food weekly and liaise with Head Office for payments
Experience
Proven experience as a Chef Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
