Salary Banding: from \xc2\xa321,795 - \xc2\xa322,048 per annum (dependent on experience)

Hours: Full time / Permanent / Mon-Fri / 40 hours

Location: Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire

Our Bright Horizons Sawbridgeworth Day Nursery and Preschool are currently recruiting for a Nursery Assistant to join their amazing team!

We are Ofsted rated \xe2\x80\x9cGood\xe2\x80\x9d and situated in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire - only a 10 minute walk from the station.

We are in a rural area with unique shops, bakers and caf\xc3\xa9\xe2\x80\x99s and have a long service staff team who are friendly and willing to support, with lots of training available to further your career.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll be doing

• Working as part of a nursey team looking after babies and children up to the age of 5.
• Having daily adventures with our children through interactive play, activities, reading and helping them with their curious minds through the learning curriculum
• Communicating with parents daily on their child\xe2\x80\x99s activities
• Provide a caring and supporting environment where the children feel safe and looked after

• Supporting colleagues encourage the children\xe2\x80\x99s development towards key milestones
• Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding

What we\xe2\x80\x99re looking for

• Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential - Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar.
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
• Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
• Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
• Sound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of children
