Nursery AssistantEYFS TeacherWe are recruiting for a Nursery Teacher for a Ofsted rated xe2x80x98Good Primary School on a long-term basis.The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, possess strong leadership skills, and have a background in Early Childhood Education.You will be teaching in a new small EYFS class with children in a mainstream primary school. You will be supported by another 2 teaching assistants who have a wealth of experienceYou must have early years experience and experience supporting SEN children. And so much more.Your role & responsibilities of the EYFS Teacher :
  • Supervising the students in class, ensuring they complete a set task
  • Guiding students through the curriculum, marking working, setting home working tasks
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Create a safe and nurturing learning environment for children- Manage classroom activities effectively to promote learning and development
  • Managing behaviour
  • Upholding schools behaviour and safeguarding policies
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons
  • Utilise creative teaching methods to enhance childrens English language skills
  • Organise and participate in educational activities such as storytelling, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
Non-negotiables :
  • Previous EYFS, KS1 teaching experience.
  • Phonics experience in any of the following programmes: Read, Write, Inc.
  • Worked with SEN children in a school or similar
  • Taught in a UK Primary School or British International School in the last two years.
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
