NON-TERM TIME HOLIDAY CAMP LEAD AND ASSISTANT COACHES - EXETER AND EXMOUTH

Our multi-activity holiday camps, provide an extensive range of sports, arts and crafts and other activities for children to enjoy at our holiday camp locations across the South West.

We offer an extensive list of activities and sports for children aged between 5 and 12 at our camps which include Gymnastics, Football, Dance, Tennis, Glow in the Dark Dodgeball, Football and Nerf Guns, Netball, Swimming (if venue allows), Nerf Gun Battles, Lazer Tag, Arts and Crafts, Clay Sculpting, Magic and circus shows, Discos, Orienteering, Multi-skills, Team building, Cricket, Volleyball, Rounders, Badminton, Handball, Pickleball, Capture the Flag, Table Tennis, Parachute games, Board games, Construction activities, Drama and talent shows, Monkey ball, Party games, Hoverboards, Bubble Football, Bouncy Castles, Inflatables, Archery Tag and Ultimate frisbee.

We are currently seeking, highly motivated coaches to join our ever-growing team to lead and assist in the delivery of our camps in Exeter and Exmouth for children between the ages of 5-12. Our camps run Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 5.30pm during non-term time. Flexible working hours are available with the option of working up to 40 hours a week based on availability.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and assist in the delivery of the schemes at both our venues. Plan and deliver a range of differentiated activities including Arts and Crafts Deliver our food education sessions and activities. Communicate and provide feedback to each parent. Adhere to our company policies including Safeguarding and First aid. Complete all administration tasks.

Rates of Pay: 100-150 a day based on experience and qualifications.

It is essential that candidates:

Have experience in working with Primary School age children. Have experience of working at a holiday camp setting Enhanced DBS Level 2 Safeguarding qualification (or willing to complete prior to start date) Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Certification (or willing to complete prior to start date) Competent in literacy and numeracy at level 3 standard Computer literate in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel Competent in using social media.

It is desirable that candidates:

Have a level 1 coaching qualification in a sport. Has experience of planning and leading Arts and Crafts activities. Have a commons core qualification. Have experience of working with SEN and EAL children. Are able to use a variety of successful behaviour management strategies within their practise.

Safeguarding Statement - Primary Sports is committed to safeguarding children and young people. All post holders are subject to a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Prospective applicants will be supplied with Primary Sports child protection policy and safer recruitment. All staff will be expected to complete a DBS check if they are not already on the DBS Update Service and supply references.
