Capacity Place is a boutique Lloyd's broker specialising in providing binders, facilities, fronting and reinsurance solutions for MGA's, brokers, insurers, and Lloyd's Coverholders.
We originally launched in 2020 as a capacity marketplace and pivoted our business model to becoming a placing broker for (re)insurance programmes. We are in the process of updating our website which may not reflect this. We are currently a team of 3-4 professionals, looking to grow to 6-8 over the next 18 months.
Headquartered in London, we work closely with our clients to understand their unique opportunities and challenges; focusing on specialty insurance product lines and solutions where we can add the most value through our insights, the depth of our insurer relationships and market knowledge.
About the Role:
We are seeking a Marketing Analyst with a background in non-life insurance to join our team. This role is ideal for a marketing professional who holds a Dip CII or higher designation and has at least 5 years of non-life insurance industry experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage our online and offline B2B marketing campaigns aimed at establishing and development target clients and markets
Manage, administer and develop our insurance industry contacts database(s)
Assist with the development of marketing materials and promotional merchandise
Assist in project management tasks to ensure timely delivery of marketing projects
Assist with the placement of insurance programmes including preparation of marketing materials, identification of target markets, etc.
Conduct research on insurance markets, products, strategies and competitors as required
Provide administrative support in meetings for the management team
Attend industry events
Qualifications and Skills:
Dip CII or higher (ACII preferred) or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years' experience in non-life insurance broking, underwriting, consulting or related areas
Minimum of 3 years B2B marketing or business development experience
Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong analytical and resourceful problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Authorised to work in the UK
Professional level of English; does not need to be mother tongue
Preferred Experience:
Experience in and/or knowledge of delegated authority business or treaty reinsurance
Familiar with composite markets, Lloyd's, reinsurers, MGAs and other insurance distribution businesses
Experience in developing and implementing B2B marketing strategies
Knowledge of LinkedIn for marketing, SEO and digital marketing tools , including Google Ads, Google Analytics, Canva, etc.
