What You'll Do:


As a Non-Fired Test Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation, involves delivering safe, timely, cost-effective, and high-quality testing. You'll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life. Your work will directly involve test development, planning and scheduling key tests, analysing test results, problem-solving, and delivering reports to key customers.
The European Testing Facility at Hazelwood operates 24/7, developing and testing additives for fuels and lubricants in the automotive and industrial sectors. A wide variety of tests are conducted to evaluate the performance of our additive packages on Industrial Hydraulic Pumps and Motors, also Radial Shaft Seals and other Driveline components.

What We're Looking For:


Adhere to and promote compliance with company Health Safety and Environmental policies, practices, and procedures, and suggest areas for improvement. Plan and schedule tests to ensure the most efficient use of time and resources. Analyse and review test data, ensuring boundary conditions and repeatability checks. Provide timely results and reports in line with customer requirements. Understand customer needs and develop new tests to improve efficiency and differentiation. Represent Lubrizol at key industry or internal project meetings. Ensure compliance with current legislation and ISO standards regarding quality. Collaborate effectively with work groups, engineers, and customers. Suggest and implement improvements with a proactive and creative approach.



Skills That Make a Difference:

Degree or working towards in Mechanical engineering. Proven professional experience in Mechanical engineering, with a preference for hydraulic pumps and motors and a wider appreciation of industrial mechanical applications. Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages. Prior experience in component testing environments. Awareness of safety legislation, procedures, and ISO quality systems. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all business levels.
