We are currently seeking an NMR Spectroscopist to join our Analytical Support Group. Working primarily on small molecules, you will be required to organise, perform and report on a broad range of analytical studies in support of our internal Chemistry Functions and Contract Analytical Projects. The position requires experience in small molecule NMR including (but not exclusive to) structure characterisation, reaction monitoring and problem solving. A working knowledge of organic and physical chemistry, and good communication skills are highly desirable. Thorough hands-on experience using NMR spectrometers and associated software (preferentially Bruker/TopSpin/Mnova including maintenance and troubleshooting) would be advantageous.

Qualifications

Ph.D. or BSc in Chemistry or related field with a demonstrable interest in NMR spectroscopy and applications are essential (minimum 1 to 5 years laboratory experience). NMR interpretation experience across a variety of experiment types is highly desirable; however, full training will be provided.

A key team player and proactive individual with the ability to successfully deliver results within tight deadlines and a keen attention to detail, you will possess excellent inter-personal and communication skills, combined with a strong customer-focused approach.
