We require a

Backshift/Nightshift Bakery Assistant

for a busy bakery in Cupar.

Hours:

Sunday - Thursday 6pm-2am and Friday 5pm to midnight (one midweek night off will be given).

Wage:

Starting wage 12.98 per hour

The successful candidate MUST have nightshift experience, ideally we would prefer a candidate with bakery/food handling experience but what we really need is a desire to work, a positive can do attitude, an enthusiasm to learn and a passion to get the job done. The successful candidate will compliment and be an integral part of our busy bakery department.

This is a bit more details on what we see you doing in this role:

Assist the bakers in setting up the bakery. Ensuring that baking tools, utensils and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised. To assist bakers in cooking and preparation of breads, pastries and other items as deemed suitable. To complete any paperwork as issued. To pack/wrap all products as necessary ready for distribution or further manufacture. To assist bakers in operator machinery and other implements in the bakery. To prepare postage orders for customers and complete associated paperwork. Put together order for shops based on paperwork provided daily/weekly/monthly. To carry out regular stock checks of products/ ingredients/ packaging. To assist in all aspects of the bakery as instructed by the bakery manager. To ensure that all tasks are completed whilst adhering to the strict health and hygiene guidelines.
