Job Description

Samsic UK is recruiting for a permanent School Cleaning Operative to provide a professional facilities management service based at Hurstpierpoint College.

This position is to work for 9 hours a day from 21:00 pm to 06:00 am, Sunday to Thursday with 1 hour break.

As per the necessities of this position, all successful applicants will require a UK Criminal Record (Enhanced, England & Wales) check to be conducted. By applying to this position, you acknowledge that this is a requirement of the job role.

Requirements: Must produce proof that you are able to work in the UK and have work checkable references before commencement of work.

Start Date: 01.10.2023

You will receive: \xc2\xa310.66 per hour, paid monthly unless specified otherwise.

Job Skills: Good knowledge of cleaning, use of cleaning equipment and any cleaning qualifications would be an added advantage.

Duties include but are not limited to, cleaning sanitary areas, emptying bins, mopping, disinfecting touch points, restocking soap/hand towels, and general cleaning.

About you

• You will be polite and have a passion for delivering a good service.
• You will be health and safety conscious when working within the workplace, considering the environment and presence of others around you.
• Flexibility to cover other shifts for when staff take annual leave is preferable.
• Training will be provided, however, cleaning experience of at least 1 year is preferable.
