We are looking for night owls that love working in the early hours of the morning and would like to join us as a Night Porter. This position is responsible for managing the operation whilst our Guests are sound asleep! If our Guests have a query throughout the night, you will be their main point of contact so it is vital that you have excellent communication skills and are confident to implement our procedures.

You'll have basic bar experience to assist when our Guests are relaxing throughout the night and have a passion for delivering outstanding Guest Service whilst ensuring their safety whilst they sleep.

Our Night Porters play a vital role in delivering a great guest experience to all our guests. You will have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach and a willingness to exceed our guest expectation. Often operating on the front line, our night porters are the real ambassadors of our company and are committed to consistently delivering high standards.

This position will include shifts working any day of the week. Additional hours may be required to support our hotel during our busier periods including bank holidays.

Duties

Ensuring the safety of the guests and hotel by regularly patrolling the building and checking fire exits

Being the first point of contact for any guest enquiry during the night

Serving drinks on the bar

General tidying and light cleaning of hotel areas

Washing of kitchen and bar cloths

Printing out check in forms for the next day

Other tasks as the business requires
