The Park Hotel

is a vibrant three-star hotel located in North Liverpool, with an extensive events programme and is an established and much sought after wedding venue. We seek an experienced Night Porter who can join the hotel's team of hospitality professionals to achieve and enhance the exemplary levels of service deserved by our customers.

The successful candidate will adopt a security and safety conscious attitude, ensuring the safety of guests and hotel property. The Night Porter will provide a service for the comfort and satisfaction of the guests and carry out in an efficient and responsible manner the key duties listed below, in line with our guest expectation. The Night Porter will be expected to engage with our guests, and create a positive brand image for the Hotel, creating goodwill and repeat custom.

Key Duties:

To be the first point of contact in an emergency. Reception duties: Greet residents and visitors in a friendly and professional manner, check guests in and out of the Hotel and be able to provide information regarding the Hotel and City. Nightly patrols of the Hotel to ensure health, safety and security measures are in place, ensuring the safety of the Hotel and its occupants. Fill out incident reports, and report on repair issues, where necessary. Tidy and clean public areas, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness at all times. Must be willing to train as a Hotel fire marshal and in the event of an incident evacuate guests to the safe point. Ensure the safety of the building and its occupants.

Requirements:

Experience in hospitality or hotel environments is preferred. Strong communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work collaboratively within a team setting. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: 10.00-12.21 per hour
