We have an exciting opportunity for a Night Nurse to join our Primary Care team at HMP Pentonville a category B remand prison located in North London.
HMP Pentonville is a male prison with a capacity of 1115
You will be working autonomously based on the wings providing support to the patients so we are looking for someone who is continent working on their own.
Hours:
This role is 37.5 hours per week
Monday - Sunday service
8.30pm - 8am
Rota'[s are done 4 - 6 weeks in advance.
Salary:
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary between 44863 to 53172per annum FTE - depending on experience

What you'll be doing
As a Night Nurse, your responsibilities will vary. You will
Within a multi-disciplinary team to deliver a nurse led service and prevent hospital admissions.
Undertake medication rounds, dispense controlled medication, attend emergency response situations, assess patients, and undertake reception screening.
Use your skills and knowledge to deliver nurse led clinics to your patient group whilst being supported by a multi-disciplinary team.
Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision to; Provide outstanding evidence based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback, so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them.
Deliver non-judgemental care that makes a real difference, as defined throughout our bespoke Health in Justice competency framework

Registered nurse - Adult
Current professional qualification (NMC)
Evidence of Continued Professional Development
Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
Understanding of clinical governance, health and safety, QOF, EBP and national standards
