We are seeking a compassionate Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing high-quality care to our residents in a care home setting, and the support they deserve. Duties will be varied, and include supporting our residents with personal care needs, supporting their health and wellbeing, treating our residents with respect and dignity.
Responsibilities
Provide direct personal care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
Maintain clear and accurate documentation of records.
Ensure that the care home environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for all residents.
Participate in training and development activities to enhance your skills and knowledge in senior care.
Qualifications
Previous experience in the care sector would be advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage positively with residents and their families.
Proficiency in IT systems relevant to healthcare documentation is an advantage.
A compassionate, warm hearted, kind and caring nature with a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for our residents.
Able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team.
