Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in a care home setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and ensuring the well-being of residents.
Duties
- Assist in creating and implementing care plans for residents
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
- Provide personal care and support with daily living activities
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and reporting
- Support residents with mobility and daily exercises
- Drive residents to appointments or outings when required
- Maintain a clean and organised living environment
Requirements
- Proficient in English, both spoken and written
- Experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable
- Strong communication skills and the ability to empathise with others
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping and reporting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 12.60 per hour
