The Role
As a Night Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests during the overnight hours, including delivering outstanding customer service, handling guest inquiries and requests, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process and responding to guests via phone, emails and social media.
Responsibilities include
Handle guest check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, including the issuance of room keys, payment processing, and providing necessary information.
Monitor security cameras, conduct regular property patrols, and ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room types, hotel facilities, and local attractions (including Kents Cavern).
Monitor room availability and manage room inventory to maximise occupancy and revenue.
Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
Complete nightly reports and balance the day's financial transactions.
Assist with administrative duties, including filing and data entry.
