Newly Qualified Accountant (Public Sec, 47k)VANRATH are delighted to be exclusively recruiting for a large public sector organisation in Northern Ireland to recruit a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their very busy finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this is a newly created role and would suit a technically strong accountant keen to make their first move into public sector. This role is a 12 month contract with a view to being made permanent.What's in it for you?

- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent)
- Excellent Excel and systems experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to deli with senior stakeholders
- Preparation of management accounts and month end close
- Finance business partnering with various stakeholders
- Analysis of actual spenditure
- Financial forecasting
- Preparation of statutory year end accounts and liaison with the auditors
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Perform any other duties as may be reasonably be required from time-to-time.
