We have an exciting opportunity for a Neurodiversity Strategic Lead to join our Healthcare Care team at HMP Eastwood Park, a female prison based in South Gloucestershire.This is a brand new, rare opportunity to join the team, providing strategic leadership, specialising in neurodiversity. This role is being offered on a 2 year fixed term contract.HoursThis is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week, usually Monday to Friday.SalaryFor this full time role, you\'ll receive an annual salary up to \xc2\xa358,000 per annum FTE - depending on experience.How will we support you?

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checksWhat you\'ll be doingAs our new Neurodiversity Strategic Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
  • Provide strategic leadership within the healthcare setting in the prison, specialising in neurodiversity
  • Develop and implement clear, joined up pathways across all healthcare settings
  • Lead and develop professional relationships and pathways with community settings to enhance referrals, and specialised involvement upon discharge
  • Provide understanding of neurodivergent needs, and what reasonable adjustments could look like within the custodial setting
  • Lead on the development and training needs of staff

  • Current professional registration with NMC, HCPC or equivalent
  • Be a Registered RMN, RNLD, Social Worker (Mental Health) or Occupational Therapist (Mental Health)
  • Have evidence of Continued Professional Development
  • Be understanding of the complexities of working with a multi disciplinary team
