Network Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Up to \xc2\xa350,000 + Benefits
A leading UK MSP, who are also an award-winning Microsoft partner are looking to on board an onsite Network Engineer and drive one of their key clients to ensure high level of service is consistently delivered.
In this role you can expect to be responsible for handling incidents, resolving problems, accommodating change requests, and contributing to various projects based on our customers\xe2\x80\x99 requirements.
You will be based fulltime on the client site, supporting some of latest technologies and continue to learn news kills.
These are the platforms you\xe2\x80\x99ll champion:
- Secure application gateways / reverse proxies
- DHCP / MPLS/ VPLS, DNS (BIND & Microsoft DNS), voice/video integration \xe2\x80\x93 SIP, IP-PBX, SBC.
- Cisco / HP Core and Edge Networking
- Cisco Firewall technologies (ASA / Firepower)
- Cisco VPN Solutions
- Citrix
- Fortinet
- Meraki
- Strong/Expert knowledge in virtualization technologies such as VMWare
- Strong working knowledge of proactive monitoring tools such as SolarWinds
- Proven architect knowledge, design and project implementation
- Cisco CCNA/CCNP Qualified
- Experience with network security such as certificate management in applications
- Experience with PowerShell and scripting
- Willing to learn how software tools can be implemented and support engineering development activities.
