A Network Architect, with active SC clearance, is needed by iO Associates to work with a 30+ years old company with proven excellence in the mainframe business. They focus on providing a range of service solutions in various domains like Computing, AI, Networks, Data, and security.

In this role, you will work on a new, large program and support the delivery of a complex IDS/IPS network solution.

You will provide technical leadership within this program to the Project and Program Managers, and your role will involve network design using Firepower, F5, and Gigamon, including passing through any governance reviews, and will provide technical support during the build, implementation/configuration, and test phases, and ensure successful handover to service.

Required

• Sole British National with active SC clearance
• Experienced in analysis of customer requirements, with demonstrable network design (high level and low level) experience in proposing and utilizing technologies from a variety of industry-leading technology vendors.
• Practical skills and knowledge in Networking, and Network Management. Specific technical skills include Juniper certification (switching and configuration), network encryption and tunneling technologies, SNMPv3, Cisco Firepower Management Center, Firepower IDS, and IPS, and background in secure network design, F5, and Gigamon (SSL interception and packet broker). Strong general network skills including WAN routing including MPLS, and BGP.
