Eastern Education Group - West Suffolk College & Abbeygate Sixth Form, Bury St Edmunds and One Sixth Form, Ipswich Hybrid/Remote working options available (Remote working will require some onsite working) 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Permanent Salary: 37,599 per annum
Are you passionate about coding and innovation? Do you thrive in a collaborative environment? We're looking for a talented and motivated .NET Developer to join our dynamic team and help us create and maintain cutting-edge software applications!

As a .NET Developer, you will be at the forefront of developing and maintaining our software applications using the .NET framework. You will engage in requirements analysis, collaborate on software design and architecture, and write clean, scalable code. Your role will also involve refactoring existing code, testing and deploying applications, ensuring they are ready for production, and continuously improving software based on user feedback. Additionally, you will provide technical support, integrate data across systems, and monitor software systems to ensure optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in requirements analysis to understand and translate business needs into technical specifications Collaborate with co-workers to facilitate the production of innovative software design and architecture Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages such as C# and Visual Basic .NET Refactor existing code to follow stipulated guidelines Test and deploy applications and systems, ensuring they are production-ready Prepare test-based applications prior to their production date Occasionally update, upgrade, revise, refactor, and debug code Use end-user feedback to improve existing software and services Develop documentation and technical specifications throughout the software development life cycle Serve as an expert on applications and services, providing technical support Produce code for both desktop and web applications (including web services) Upgrade, configure, and debug existing applications and services Provide technical support for applications Work on integrating data across a range of systems Monitor daily activities of software systems and take required support actions
