We are hiring for NDT Technician in our Aviation / Aerospace in Applus UK.

Working in a team or as an individualwhen required, the technician will be responsible for carrying out NDTinspections on aircraft structures and engines, (predominately on wing), also materialsand components at different client sites.

Essential Requirements:

\xc2\xb7 Ideal candidates will be qualified to NDT Level 2 Eddy Current and Penetrant Testing certifiedEN4179 LII/ NAS410 or equivalent standard

\xc2\xb7 Strong aerospace background gained in an NDT testingenvironment.

\xc2\xb7 Meticulous to detail and high integrity with a responsibleattitude to airworthiness and the need for accuracy during testing and processcontrol activities.

\xc2\xb7 Highly motivated with ability to work either unsupervisedor as part of a team.

\xc2\xb7 Computer literate with good communication skills.

Desirable:

\xc2\xb7 Experience of working in \xe2\x80\x9con wingtesting.\xe2\x80\x9d

\xc2\xb7 Additional NDT qualifications includingUltrasonic Testing Level 2 certification.

The successful individual will;

\xc2\xb7 Hold a Diploma or be an engineering graduate (we wouldalso consider extensive aviation/ aerospace hands on experience)

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills both oral and written inEnglish language

\xc2\xb7 Willing to work in both UK and overseas if required tosupport our clients.

\xc2\xb7 Committed to work on shift if required and be on weekendon call system.

\xc2\xb7 Willing to work overtime if required.

What we offer:

• We would offer a basic salary and overtime.
• Bank holiday payment allowance in addition to over time payment, Time off in lieu will also be given.
• Travel allowance when you travel abroad for work, all travel expenses such as flights, accommodation will be paid by the company.
• Your core working hours are 37.5 per week Monday to Friday.
• Weekend on call rota (Friday to Sunday) supplements
• Part of relocation to the UK, for the first 3 months Applus will give you an allowance towards your accommodation
• A one-way flight to the UK on the economy fare for you will be reimbursed by the company.
