A major and leading FMCG food manufacturer is currently recruiting for a National Account Executive to support their large OOH / Foodservice client base. Reporting to the Head of Sales; the successful National Account Executive will be responsible for managing and growing sales with existing business as well as looking at opportunities to develop new business.

This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate with 1-2 years experience in an FMCG commercial environment. This is an ideal opportunity to develop your commercial career with clear progression to step up to Key Account Manager. The role will be office based 3 days per week in Cheshire.

National Account Executive / Sales Executive include:

Setting objectives for customer meetings and ensuring delivery against these.

Assisting with accurate forecasting

Promotional planning, evaluation, reviewing and communication internally and to the customer.

Liaise internally and externally with key stakeholders to maximise account profitability.

NPD customer planning and execution.

Social Media and general PR responsibilities

Sector promotional and marketing activities

Trade Support & Customer Initiatives

You will ideally be a Food Science, Business or Sales degree / equivalent graduate / Sales Executive / National Accounts Executive with a passion for food and to build a commercial career within a food manufacturing environment.
