Job Opportunity: Musical Theatre Teacher for Youth Academy @ PQA Stourbridge

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Musical Theatre Teacher to join our team for our Saturday morning academy sessions! This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic instructor to inspire, train, and mentor the next generation of young performers in a lively and supportive environment. Join us in helping students aged 6-18 build their skills and confidence in musical theatre.

Position Details:

Hours

: Saturdays, 9:20 am - 1:20 pm

Location

: Stourbridge

Compensation

: Competitive rates based on experience and qualifications

Responsibilities:

Lead engaging and structured musical theatre sessions, combining vocal, dance, and acting techniques Inspire and motivate students to explore and develop their talents in a positive environment Tailor instruction to different age groups and skill levels, fostering a love for musical theatre Collaborate with other academy instructors to support a cohesive curriculum across all modules Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment

Requirements:

Experience

: Some prior teaching experience in musical theatre or performing arts is preferred, but we welcome all levels of experience. A love for musical theatre and working with young people is essential.

DBS Check

: A full DBS check is required; we can assist in obtaining one for the right candidate

Age

: Must be 18 or older

Skills

: Strong communication, creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching
