Lambeth Music Service: Music Tutor (Drums / Steel pan Specialism)



Salary: 36.75 p/h



Contract: Part Time (5.5 hours p/w)





Lambeth Music Service provides children with skills that will give them the knowledge and access to as broad a musical future as possible.




3.5 hours on Saturday - Drum Kit + Steel Pans


2 hours on Thursday between 11.30 - 1.30pm - Steel Pans


Additional hours may be available




We are looking for a music tutor to lead and support the delivery of both small group and individual lessons and large ensembles. These are music centre-based lessons for Lambeth children from 6 to 18 years old, with potential for future work focused on in-school provision.


Candidates should demonstrate:


Ability to inspire and engage children and young people of all musical abilities and backgrounds


Experience of Drums / Steel pan tuition to younger students.


High professional standards and a commitment to delivering to the Music Service's expectations
