We are especially keen to hear from candidates teaching the following disciplines:
- Cello
- Piano
- Trumpet
- Woodwind (including recorder)
- Drum kit/Percussion
- Voice
Musicians should be qualified to at least degree level in their nominated discipline(s). A performance diploma is also desirable. Candidates will need successful enhanced DBS disclosure.
Applicants should have a friendly and personable disposition able to communicate their skills on their principal instrument to all standards and to all age groups.
Individual tuition may also take place in either the State or Private sectors of education, in addition to teaching private students outside school hours on a 1:1 basis.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with Roundhay Music staff and their pupils.
- Organise their own schedule and keep a clear record of lessons taught.
- Write and submit reports in line with deadlines set by Roundhay Music.
- Prepare and enter pupils for performance opportunities when at an appropriate standard.
- Be committed to supporting pupils in a permanent and ongoing capacity.

Pay: 10,000.00-30,000.00 per year
