We want to hear from you if you are a committed, highly motivated Teacher of Music or you are an ECT aspiring to be such a teacher. You will join and be supported by a successful Music Department with outstanding outcomes, both in examination results and at competition level.
Frome college Music Department currently offers GCSE Music, Level 2 Music Technology, A level Music and A level Music Technology. Music at Frome College is a high-profile department both within the College and the community, having strong external links with local and national events and with regular performances organised. Highlights of the school year include the Christmas Carol Concert, in the glorious, gothic setting of St. John\xe2\x80\x99s Church and the \xe2\x80\x98Later with Frome College\xe2\x80\x99 Event at the Cheese and Grain Venue.

Music is well supported at Frome College as seen through our excellent facilities and resources:

• First classroom with a dedicated performance stage with full PA system and digital mixing desk.
• A second classroom equipped with 24 Apple Macs all equipped with Logic Pro X.
• Well-equipped 16 channel studio with three live rooms attached, including purpose-built vocal booth.
• 4 additional practise rooms and separate music office.

The Successful candidate will:

• be an outstanding teacher (or ECT aspiring to be outstanding)
• able to teach A level Music competently
• Must be willing to participate in concerts and events throughout the year
• have a passion for their subject and helping students succeed
