We have an exciting opportunity for a Voids Supervisor to join us here at Thrive Homes!
We are seeking an experienced individual to deliver a high-quality void property service to Thrive Homes\xe2\x80\x99 buildings and other client\xe2\x80\x99s properties. You will successfully manage the THS Void operatives ensuring that we deliver a cost effective and competitive repairs service on void properties including liaison with other areas of the business and planning team.
Thrive Homes is a housing association which owns and manages over 5,000 rented and leasehold properties in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Thrive exists to provide good quality affordable homes and services enabling the development of communities where people enjoy living.
Job Duties:
Managing a team of operatives ensuring that void properties are habitable within set times
Ensure team objectives are achieved by actively encouraging good performance and productivity; promptly deal with poor or below standard performance or behaviours.
Effectively using reporting tools, managing functional budgets and monitoring relevant KPIs putting solutions in place when they are falling below the target.
Confidently manage and monitor health and safety.
Set and manage objectives for the team, and regularly review in line with business and strategic plans.
Ensure effective communication with team via 121, team meetings and quarterly performance reviews.
Requirements:
Experience of managing an operational team
Excellent health and safety management skills.
Significant experience working in a social housing setting.
City and Guilds or equivalent in a trade
Full driving license.
Experience of providing high levels of customer service.
Strong budget management skills.
