FMServ is a leading provider of mobile technical services and facilities management solutions based in Warwickshire and serving clients across the UK. Established in 2018 we provide a 'one stop shop' for all commercial and residential property development and reactive maintenance.

FMServ offers a nationwide commercial property maintenance service, including 24-hour emergency call-outs and other small works.

Due to continual year on year growth, as of 2024 we employ over 70 employees across the UK and are expanding.

- Multi-Trade Specialist - Floorer

Location: West Midlands

- Possible National Travel required

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Specialist with a focus on property maintenance to join our national facilities management company. The ideal candidate will have expertise in general property maintenance for both commercial and domestic properties across the UK.

Responsibilities:

Perform a wide range of tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and installations. Conduct general property maintenance and reactive repairs for commercial and residential properties. Undertake light grounds work and indoor maintenance tasks when required. Diagnose faults and implement effective solutions using analytical skills. Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer service in all projects. Conduct property MOTs and void works as required. Perform heavy lifting when necessary.

Qualifications:

Ideally, you will have a relevant NVQ Level 2 At least 3 years of trade experience in Flooring Proficiency in multiple trades, particularly those related to property maintenance, is a must. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent customer service skills. Valid clean UK driving license. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Fitness & Dexterity:

Ability to perform manual labour in tight spaces or challenging conditions Endurance for heavy lifting when required

Multi-Trade Competency:

Basic knowledge of complementary trades (e.g., tiling, plastering) Ability to perform minor property maintenance tasks

Teamwork & Independence:

Capability to collaborate with colleagues or work alone efficiently.
