Overview

We are looking for a number of full time multi skilled trades to join our ever expanding team. We have property renovation work lined up for the next four years, and need more skilled labourers to compliment the team we already have. The ideal candidates will have the majority of skills in the following areas:

Stud and metal wall framing

Good Carpentry essential (First fix and Second fix)

Plasterboarding/Dry Lining

Door hanging/Door frame fitting

Installation of Fire doors and fire door frames

Wall and floor Tiling

Damproof works - installing a dpm etc

Bathroom Fitting and basic plumbing

Kitchen fitting including worktops

Laminate/LVT laying

Decorating and more importantly preparation of decorating

Flat Roofing/Roofing Repairs/EPDM installations

Groundworks (Laying footings/building walls)

Bricklaying/Blocklaying for landscaping

UPVC Window and Door fitting/UPVC Repairs

Concreting and slab laying

General building experience (Brick/block laying/Fitting concrete lintels etc)

Plastering/Rendering an advantage, but not essential

Attributes Needed

Must have at least 4 year's proven experience as a tradesperson

Must be punctual and reliable

Must be detail oriented. Attention to detail is critical.

Must be organised and clean and tidy. Health and Safety is paramount.

Must be available to work on to finish task lists if required

Must be available to work one day at occasional weekends if required

Must be willing to travel to projects

Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions

Must be aware of waste. Must be forward thinking and ensure waste is minimalised.

Proficient in the use of power tools

We are looking for specific type of people. They must be mature and have the ability to work on their own

and

as part of a team. They will need to be able to meet targets so time is of the essence in every job and quality must also be met.

A positive outlook is essential. We cannot have negative people in the team as it brings everyone down if one person is complaining all the time. They must drive and have their own transport and tools so they can make their own way to job sites which are all over South Wales, but mainly in Cardiff, and the Rhondda and Newport valleys. Our next 15 projects are in Treforest, Maindy, Ferndale, Port Talbot, Abertillery, Treherbert, Caerphilly and Ebbw Vale.

We are ideally looking to recruit a self-employed person who will be paid weekly at a rate of between 120 to 160 per day dependent on experience, level of skills etc and speed of working. If you are already a trade and are looking for some regular work but not full time, please call us. We can discuss regular part time work if you are looking for 2 or 3 days per week or weekend work.

We DO NOT require you to have CSCS cards as you won't be working on any construction sites, and if we do require this in the future, the company will pay for this.
