Job Description

We have exciting opportunities available for Multi Skilled Engineer to work as part of the onsite engineering team.

Working on 4 on 4 off rotating days shift pattern you will provide high quality engineering support to the site operations focusing on reliability and continuous improvement of all site assets and attend regular line performance updates \xe2\x80\x93

Short Interval control and daily / weekly operations performance reviews. You will undertake a wide range of tasks including planned preventative maintenance and providing efficient response to breakdowns in order to maintain optimum efficiency.

You will also be expected to actively seek improvement opportunities and implement those where possible to further develop the efficient and productivity of the business.

The successful candidate must hold an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent as a minimum in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.

You must be an excellent fault finder and a good working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and PLC\xe2\x80\x99s. You will be expected to accurately record all maintenance work using our computerised maintenance system so strong computer skills are a must.

The role is crucial to the efficient running of the site and therefore you will be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills when liaising with internal departments and external contractors and have a flexible and proactive approach to ensure the overall need of the business are met.

Ideally you will have direct experience of working with food processing equipment, however familiarisation training on this specialist equipment can be provided for the right candidate.

Working days:

Monday- Sunday on a 4 on 4 off Rota 5.00am \xe2\x80\x93 5.00pm shift

Payment: \xc2\xa338,000 - \xc2\xa340,000 per annum (depending on skills & experience)

Overtime: If you work over 48 hours you will be paid overtime rate at 1.5

Call out Rota:

Weekly call out retainer/standby payment of \xc2\xa328.84 for week (equating to \xc2\xa31,500 per annum) will be paid every week regardless of holidays or sickness.

If called out, you will be paid a minimum of 4 hours pay at flat rate regardless of the hours done. If more hours are done, then obviously these will be paid at flat rate for the number of hours worked.

Holidays - 20 shifts per year 1st April \xe2\x80\x93 31st March
