Multi-Drop Delivery Driver Van/Class 2

Delivery drivers have a critical role within our company as you are the face of Caterite while delivering to our customers. Therefore, the successful applicant will need to be friendly, enthusiastic, physically fit, reliable and able to work alone and as part of a team. Successful candidates will be required to work 5/6 days per week, over Monday to Saturday. Flexibility around start and finish times is required from you as you could be on site as early as 03.00 am. based on the delivery destination. This could be the role for you if you prefer early morning starts.

You will be responsible for:

Checking and loading their own vehicle Checking paperwork and route planning Delivering goods to customers and verifying the contents of your loads against invoice papers Delivering mainly in Cumbria and Southwest Scotland but as far a field as Chester and the North East. Communication with customers and the Transport office.
Experience in working within the busy dispatch department is of advantage but full training on products, procedures and systems will be provided. The shift can go from relaxed to hectic at times, as the workload can quickly change depending on the number of orders received therefore a flexible, focused and hands-on approach is of benefit.

You will deliver high standards, working accurately and efficiently. You care about delivering goods to customers 'on time in full' to ensure customers are provided with the highest standard of service.

Candidates must;

Hold a current clean driving licence (experience in driving a Box or long wheelbase van preferable but not essential as full training will be provided). Have an excellent approach to customer service. Strong work ethic and initiative. Ability to work under pressure.

Pay: 13.10 per hour for Van Driving, 14.27 per hour for Class 2 driving plus a Saturday bonus payment of 40
