Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Motor Vehicle Technician. Responsibilities would be:

Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance and repairs to a high standard including clutches, timing belts/chains, air con, electronics. Being able to diagnose, assess and repair mechanical and electrical issues accurately and efficiently. Being able to work well in a team as well as being able to work confidently on their own. To be keen, enthusiastic and to positively communicate with others.
Requirements would be:
Fully qualified with a minimum of 5 years motor trade experience preferably with German brand experience. Clean driving licence with own transport. Class 4 MOT licence would be a benefit, although training can be arranged. Own tool set (specialist tools and diagnostics provided).
About the employer:

We are a small garage based on the Ferndown Industrial Estate which carries out MOT's, repairs and maintenance on predominantly German branded vehicles, however we do accept other marques. We operate in a way which gives the customer the same high quality they expect from a main dealer but with the personalised service of a small local garage, allowing customers to trust us with their vehicles to return year on year.

This is for a full time permanent position. The working hours are Mon-Fri 8:30-5:30 with 20 days holiday plus bank holidays and access to the workplace pension scheme. Competitive salary to be negotiated depending on experience.
