Role: MOT Tester - Day Shift

Location: Sheffield, S60 5BD

Contract: 4 on 4 off - 6pm - 6am

Salary: OTE \xc2\xa331,350

(\xc2\xa328,350 per year + bonus)

What does the job involve?

To conduct MOT tests to the standards instructed by VOSA.

Your key responsibilities

• To conduct MOT tests to the standards instructed by VOSA.
• To ensure that sufficient time is allocated to correctly inspect each vehicle.
• To inform your supervisor or Manager of any failings.
• To carry out mechanical repairs on a range of vehicles, as and when required.
• To ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.
• You will fully comply with Health & Safety regulations and site safety policies.
• You will maintain a safe working environment.
• You will fully comply with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) regulations.

What skills or experience do you need to join the team?

• You will need a full valid UK driver\xe2\x80\x99s licence.
• You will need the relevant qualifications to perform MOT testing. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent / time served experience.
• You will need to have experience in a similar role.
• You will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• You will have a positive \xe2\x80\x98\xe2\x80\x99can do\xe2\x80\x99\xe2\x80\x99 attitude.
