I am working with my client a Tier 1 Investment Bank based in Canary Wharf on a new requirement within the business. there is a contract opening for a Mortgage Underwriter to come onboard and lend their expertise to the internal projects of the investment bank.
The contract is set to begin in early September, lasting 12 months and will be a hybrid role with 2 days remote and 3 days onsite in Canary Wharf.
What you will do:
- Conduct thorough research and prepare internal documentation for approving commercial real estate loans.
- Analyze real estate markets in the EMEA region.
- Follow best practices in credit analysis, underwriting, and monitoring.
- Support engagement with business heads, risk teams, regulators, and control functions.
- Foster relationships with key clients and regulatory bodies.
- Approve complex credit transactions as the first line of defense.
- 12 Month long contract
- Hybrid working: 2 Days remote/3 Days Onsite
- Day rate: \xc2\xa3600pd Inside IR35
- Start: Early September 2023
