WINNER are currently supporting an glass manufacturing company with the recruitment of their Multi Skilled Engineer this role will be based in Peterborough.

As a Multi Skilled Engineer you will be responsible working closely with the production team to ensure that machinery downtime is kept to a minimum and that all maintenance is conducted in advance to avoid production disruption.

You will need to work collaboratively with the engineering team, supporting and identifying means of improving plant productivity. You will ensure that any spare parts, materials, and equipment are available.

The duties of the Multi Skilled Engineer will be:

• Carry out this role you will need to be multi-skilled preferably with an Electrical bias.
• Electrically you will be able to fault find on single and three-phase systems, servo motors and AC motors, sensors, and various control systems.
• There will be an element of electrical installation as required, typically lighting and small power.
• Knowledge of plc electronics desired.
• Mechanically you will be able to work on drive train systems, rollers, gearboxes, shafts, pneumatics, and some hydraulics
• There is a requirement to be able to strip machine assemblies to component level and rebuild.
• You will also need to have demonstrated experience in maintenance engineering and show the ability to work off your own initiative.

The ideal Multi Skilled Engineer will have:

• You will need to be multi-skilled with an electrical bias
• Have strong communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Education to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is preferred, but not essential as we would consider \xe2\x80\x9ctime served\xe2\x80\x9d as experience.

The salary for the Multi Skilled Engineer is circa up to \xc2\xa344,000 per annum

Shifts:
You will be working a night shift which will be Sunday \xe2\x80\x93 Thursday 22:00pm \xe2\x80\x93 6:00am
