Tire Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tire Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of tyres on various vehicles, ensuring safety and performance standards are met. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work with both hand and power tools.

Duties

Perform tyre installations, rotations, balancing, and repairs on a variety of vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections of tyres to assess wear and damage. Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering recommendations based on vehicle needs. Assist in heavy lifting of tyres and related equipment as required. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during tyre servicing tasks. Maintain accurate records of services performed and inventory levels.

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Strong mechanical knowledge is essential to understand tyre specifications and vehicle requirements. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely, with a focus on maintaining personal safety standards. Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in tyre maintenance is advantageous.

Pay: 25,619.00-26,812.00 per year
