Job Description

We are looking for an individual to work for the \xe2\x80\x9cSilver Accredited Food for Life, School Catering Service\xe2\x80\x9d within the Broxtowe Area.

As a Mobile School Chef you will be responsible for covering holidays, sickness absences and also assist with training of on-site teams across the district.

Your overall role is to prepare and produce school lunches from the menu, whilst using fresh ingredients. You will lead your teams through inspiration and encouragement, whilst effectively managing the site catering operations. In addition to the day to day cooking duties, you will have experience of managing budgets, stock control and menu planning. You will be an excellent communicator who maintains a good working relationship with the school and its customers.

You will be required to travel across the county so it is essential that you have access to transport enabling you to travel to sites, sometimes within short timescales. Mileage will be paid where applicable. If this sounds like you, we\'d love to hear from you.
