We now have an exciting new opportunity for a qualified and experienced Mobile Electrician to join our Preston-based commercial maintenance team. City Group Managed Services Ltd is committed to providing first-class planned, preventative and reactive maintenance services to a wide range of clients across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Liverpool and Lancaster.

As part of this maintenance operative role, you will provide planned preventative maintenance, (PPM), as well as carrying out reactive repairs, fault finding and installations which will require mainly electrical, but having skills in basic plumbing, joinery, and general repairs would be advantageous.

Previous relevant experience of carrying out maintenance in commercial and healthcare settings is essential.

Skills required:

Must be NAPIT qualified for EICR testing purposes.

Appropriate technical qualification e.g. City & Guilds 2365 parts 1-3, BTEC, NVQ level 3 or above.

Experience of electrical maintenance activities, general distribution and installation and testing.

Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at work Regulations.

Capable of working at heights.

Ability to work alone and use initiative.

A full UK driver's license and willing to travel throughout the North-West region in a company vehicle for this is a mobile role.

Ability to use documentation and IT systems for reporting and maintaining records.
